Mix Tapes.

Growing up, I used to record new and old songs onto cassette tapes when my favorite songs would come up on the radio or if I was able to borrow the latest release.

As I grew up I would then stay up hours on late night dial-up internet ‘burning’ CDs with a playlist of songs to play on the bus to school, gift to friends and even spill my emotions on. Today, you can find them here.A bit more instantaneous - but with the same amount of care.

Boas Vibes

This might not require a lot of translation,. ‘Boas’ is Portuguese for ‘Good’. So - Good Vibes. This specific combination means to me good feelings and smooth sensations. I usually connect this to being a place I find myself at peace - whether thats driving down a highway or in the middle of a forest with friends. Boas Vibes is a feeling that passes from one person to the other. And if I could give you one playlist, it’d be this one.

Cafe Con Leche

There is something about a slow Sunday morning listening to slow music with a hot ‘cafe con leche’ (a latte basically) while lounging at your place, without a real hurry to make it to any calendar appointment. And to me, there is something about pop-rock latino that gets me to that ‘easy like sunday morning’.
